Johan approaches Bi'rel cautiously,
Pardon me, but I was hoping to have a moment of your time. My name is Johan, and I would like to apologize for the manner in which we were introduced.
Our meeting was....unfortunate, at best. I apologize for the circumstances, and for any threat you may have perceived from me. The need to protect yourself and those you are with is an admirable trait, and please rest assured that I harbor no bad intent towards you, or those that travel with you. I hope we can come to a reconciliation and can come to work together in the future.
I realize that trusting me may be an issue, all I ask is that you allow me to work with you and your group. The trust will come, in time.
Johan extends his hand and awaits a response from Bi'rel.
Bi'rel, walking with her cloak still pulled over her head and still slowly moving, you hear her very faintly saying,
I could have killed them.
Through whimpers and a very robotic nature as if there physically, seemingly somewhere else. She is still flicking her fingers and dancing flames across her right hand.
Johan's eyes move to the flame in Bi'rel's hand.
A pain I know too well. I had brothers, older, we fought together, bled together, and because of my actions, only I am left standing. I let my power overcome me, and my rage was great. Their deaths served only to drive me deeper into the throws of power. The struggle is constant, as it may be with you. You may not be able to forgive yourself, I will never forgive myself, but you can live each day trying to atone for your actions
Bi'rel asks a bit louder,
have you ever almost destroyed all hope for the world?
The rage now showing in her silver eyes as she stops and looks at you.
have you ever questioned your purpose with in the greatest good?
And with a very stoic voice and eyes softening,
Are you willing to sacrifice everything you have fought for just because the questions you have of another's beliefs?
She turns and starts walking again, turning to her inner contemplations, and whispers,
I'm not sure I can
Johan hangs his head in sadness, and speaking as if to get Bi'rel to stop walking, or at least listen,
YES! My hope rested with my brothers, both now dead
, Johan says as tears visibly come to his eyes.
But I have a new hope that resides in the ballance of life and death. I have given my life to Gomo and Akhena to serve that balance
Bi'rel stops and turns seeing the sadness in Johan's eyes says in a very compassionate tone,
Faith is good for the Gods, but my hope
, she points to the gathered group she has been traveling in,
I put that in the tangible, and the righteous, and in my fears, I almost destroyed the only hope the Druids believe that the whole world has
She places a hand on Johan's shoulder, which now has become cool to the touch, tears streaming from her eyes,
And I almost destroyed that single handedly
She lowers her voice to a whisper,
I am sorry I lost my temper and attacked you, but know this, I no longer worry myself, I swear my life to them. The only problem we will have is if you ever attempt to do them harm, or try to sway them from their duty. If that ever comes know this, I will finish what I accidentally started
Bi'rel turns, gets back into herself mumbling as she walks away.
