As Sheyla and The Smoke approached the city, and as it happened every time they approached authorities, Sheyla was left walking alone into the town. From a distance The smoke watched his traveling companion, making sure she made it safely to the inn. He walked in behind her and rented a room himself. He was anxious for what the next day held, a flying city just seemed highly improbable. He got settled and began to sleep. A few hours later he jumped to his feet, his body alarm was screaming but trusting his instincts he had no idea why.
"A little jumpy aren't we? Hard to become the most hunted man in history overnight I would assume." Came a voice behind him, and as he turned around, he saw a short halfling sitting on his window sill. The smoke was by nature curious though, and said, "Ok two questions, who are you and what are you doing here?" The halfling smiled at that, straight forward was the speech of a honorable man, he would just cut to the chase here, time is something he did not have a lot of anymore. " I am here because I am bound by an ancient oath to seek out the new "Smoke" whomever that be, and play my part in helping him out and document that person into this tome." He said, drawing up the ancient Tome by his side. The book looked ancient, but well preserved at the same time. The Sybil was identical to the hand medallion of his armor.
"As to who I am, well isn't that apparent? I am called The Master."

The Master smiles, "Of coarse I am, will forever be. But," The Master jumps off the window sill, "if you trust me, I can attempt to explain the debt that can never be paid, by doing my part in this dance of honor we have." He says, "Get your armor on Shadowlord, just call for me when you are ready, and I will show you what to do." With that The Master vanishes.

*looks around the room and then out the window* "I have got to learn how to do that"
*Puts on the armor and starts playing with the lucky coin* "I'm ready master"

As The Master walks out of the darkness in the corner, The Smoke sees him materialize out of no where. Smiling again The Master says, "This next part makes most people throw up. But if you are ready," he says holding out his hand, "take my hand."

"After all things I've seen and all the things I've done, I don't think I will have a problem with not throwing up." *hesitantly takes the masters hand* "I hope this doesn't come back to bite me"

Instantly they materialize in a large room, with ancient symbols carved into the walls, thick dust on everything and cob webs laying even thicker layers upon the dust. The Smoke reals in pain grabbing his stomach, but shows great fortitude by not allowing the bile to exit his mouth. Looking around he is in a perfectly carved some of stone, and notices the symbols are carved from the same stone. Looking around he can make out a large desk, two large chests, a large bed and a large wardrobe. The room is 30 feet in diameter.

The Master shrugs, "I think it's your office."

"I have an office in a place no one can find. This seems kind of pointless, unless you can tell me where this is."

The Master, with a look of amazement on his face says, "I have no idea." He looks at The Smoke and says, "Thousands of years ago two brothers started two separate guilds, called them thieves guilds and had thrives but they knew that between the two of them, the can have all the secrets of the world at their finger tips." He showed his symbol on his palm, "Our symbols combine make a complete universe touching all aspects. The pact was made when one of them died only a worthy thief, one with honor and loyalty could take over, so the had armor made, each of them, both with a curse, but your first leader was smarter and more powerful, he wanted not only to know the world but control it."

"He made sure that the only thing that thief would be able to do is become the Smoke." The Master began looking around, "The magic here is ancient and still powerful, can't you feel it?"

"My stomach sure can" as he looks around the room. The smoke, with a glimmer in his eye, walks up to the desk and picks up a gold cauldron with a line of jewels in the middle and the shadow brotherhood engraved at the top. "This is mine right?"

Just then, a million little disks showing different people in the world appear floating above them, the cave seems to brighten, Ike knows it needed light.

Startled "I really need to stop touching things. I now see the magic you speak of. What are all these disks?"
