The morning after their return to the capital, Zoriah seeks out master Zen at the tower. Relaying all that had happened since they left the capital, Zoriah then seeks a quiet room in the mages tower to study her magic and refine her art. Flipping through one musty tome, she sees a spell that has caught her eye.
Hurriedly, she brings out her spell book and begins copying down the list of components, muttering to herself about where in the many hells is she supposed to find a diamond worth that much gold.
Oh, she had the coin, to be sure, the hard part would be procuring the items required. Upon reading the last required component, she begins to read out loud...."a cubic inch of flesh.....yech! I don't think I could do that to myself. Perhaps....." She mutters to herself as she finishes copying the spell. She returns the tome to the shelf, bids goodbye to Master Zen, and returns to her stronghold to seek out the captain of her guard.

Upon reaching her stronghold, she asks the guards on duty outside the front gates where the captain can be found and is directed to the room being used as the main barracks.
Upon spotting the captain, she calls out, "Captain Schneider, a word," and waits as Schneider breaks from the guards he is speaking to and walks over.
"Ma'am"
"Zoriah will do, Captain. I trust this time has passed without too many issues."
"Nothing of note," replies Schneider, " although some guards occasionally have to chase away vagrants. You, however," as he gestures towards the baby growing inside of Zoriah, "seem to have had an adventure or two."
"Many in fact," she blushes, "and many more, hopefully. I bring gifts for you and your men." Zoriah begins to pull the armor she took from the Death Knight they killed in the cave and presents it to the captain. "A gift, for your loyalty. You'll have to spend some time with it, it is not your every day plate armor. Captain Schneider, please follow me."
Zoriah begins to walk to her master bedroom, unlocks the door, and ushers the Captain inside.
"Now Captain, the real issue. Hopefully by the end of the day, I will have a large package delivered here to the stronghold. It is my wish that this be kept among the men who are on duty."
Zoriah reaches in to her robes and withdraws 4 of the diamonds acquired in the cave and hands them to Schneider.
"For your loyalty Captain, and for your silence," as she hands him a bank note for 1000 gold pieces.
"When I command it, you will post four guards outside this door at all times. This door will NOT be opened. Two shifts of guards will be used, and the eight guards, chosen by you, will have no other duties other than guarding this door. They, and you, of course, will be greatly compensated when the need for said guard schedule is no longer needed."
Zoriah pauses to gauge the Captain's response and continues...."the chosen guards pay will be doubled, for their loyalty, and for the fact that they speak of this to no one."
Schneider looks at Zoriah, the paces the room a bit, and finally says in reply "It will be as you say Zoriah, I will choose the men according to their skill, and will notify you as soon as they have been chosen."
Zoriah nods her approval and dismisses Schneider saying, "thank you Captain, I will return by the end of day," and gestures for the captain to follow her out.
Zoriah then leaves her stronghold and begins looking for a shop that might have the items she needs.
