It is the longest running inn found throughout Enin, and the Redald family seems to always have run it. Jason Redald was a good man, who never found time for a family. Townsfolk remember him bringing presents and visiting the orphanage in town quit frequently, feeding the less fortunate, and making a lot of friends, even helping the evangelist, cleric Leroy from time to time when the local temple tried to have him brought up on charges of heresy. Even pointing out that the local clerics did nothing for the population of the town while Leroy could be found visiting the orphanage and helping feed the poor when the other clerics turned their noses up at such people.
He owned the "Stay Inn" for many years after his father passed it on to him, and in that time became a very wealthy man, which helped him give to a lot of people. A smart businessman, Jason realized by investing in a good image would increase the profits of his Inn, and he had to expand, building the Stay Inn to the largest Inn known in the world.
Having no kids of his own, he would be found with his niece since a very young age grooming her to become the next owner of the Inn, and with his heart attack that took his life two months ago, the property legally shifted to her. A very quiet lady, she almost seemed too shy to run the business, she jumped in to make sure everything ran accordingly, and all the workers seemed to love her, as if nothing bad had happened and it was business as usual. She was smart and charming, never seemed to get angry, even the pain in the ass Megrim would sit and talk with her, giving her respect at the Inn.
The only one who ever said anything bad about her was the human manager, who thought that the Inn should have gone to him after Jason's passing, he got drunk one night and was very insulting toward the new owner. The niece seemed to not mind, smiling as she walked away from the drunk manager. The next day the manager had left, and the kitchen manager was made manager of the Inn a very kind and gentle Minataur, who jumped in and not even a hiccup in business was felt. 2 weeks later, the old manager was found, strung up and mutilated on the mast of an old war ship, with a sign stabbed into his chest that read, "Finally learned to keep my mouth shut, sir."
It took authorities some time, but they found out that the warship was the one the manager served on 20 years prior before retiring to become a worker for Jason at the Stay Inn. No one on the warship ever served with the man, but once the authorities found the old retired captain of the warship, he recalled telling the sailor, "You'd make a fine officer if you ever learned to keep your mouth shut!" The murder is unsolved to this day.
