Today, a new general store will be opening up in our busy town, and it promises to be better then any of the others. Snidalap's, owned by a local part-time Town Guard named , who is well known for being fair. He served in the Enin Army for years, and came to our town looking for work, now he is living the dream of owning his own business. Maflar says he wants to have "A shop where the regular person can shop and not feel like they are getting ripped off. Too many times you go looking for an item, no matter what it is and the shop owners look at you as just another coin. Snidalap will give people fair prices and help find that hard to locate item. Also, fair deals for items that can be used second hand as well, we have a full time Appraiser who will be teaching his craft to the other workers, so we can provide the best service necessary to help people out." That appraiser is long time Pirates Port citizen and known thief, Jimso Highlaster. When asked about this piece of information, Maflar replied, "Look, I've been in the city guard here for a long time, I knew Mr. Redald, for a very long time, my roots are now here and I want to bring change. I know Jimso was heading a long time in a life of crime, but I think we have found a positive outlet for his skills, and will give him the satisfaction of having an honest coin in his pocket as well as a chance to show that people just need a chance to be better then they are." Snidalap promises to have new and unique items as well as fresh merchandise, they have even made some deals with traveling merchants to come by and help keep things new and unique as well as find that long item you need. Jimso even offered to help people with lockboxes who have lost their keys for free, just stop by and see him. Only time will tell but it is nice to actually see someone trying to make our community better.
